Joman remix contest winner!

Once again Benny Sands has been chosen to be the best remixer in a remix contest! This time Joman and the people behind Velcro City Records were the judges.

Velcro City Records, based in Denver Colorado USA, decided to celebrate their 2 years existense by hosting their very first open-submission remix contest of Jomans's newest track, "Epidemic". Inspired by this hard-hitting electro/industrial soundtrack, Benny Sands created a melodic/electro crossover remix which will be rocking a dancefloor near you soon!

Look out for the exclusive Beatport release in November 2010! Later this year the track will be distributed on various online retailers like Itunes, Amazon and Junodownload.

Deep Velvet - Over You remix contest winner!

He did it again! The long awaited results are finally in and Benny Sands was voted to have produced the best remix of Deep Velvet's house track 'Over You'. Originally released back in early January 2008 on the Funklife records label, it sure got the crowds stirring up with performances at venues such at the Scala (London), Pacha (London), SE1 club plus many more throughout the early part of the year. And now this amazing track is being re-released early this year with Benny Sands featured as one of the remixers. Keep your eyes open for that, and be sure to get your copy!

Benny Sands signs with Wasted!

Great news! Benny Sands signs a record deal with Wasted Records, a label of Midtown Records based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The first track that is going to be released will be Take You. Release date is not known yet, but in a while this awesome floor filler can be found in the Midtown record stores around the country and ofcourse also as a digital release on the well known online music stores like Beatport.
